DVD Shrink quality settings.

The included info is a bit vague about using the quality settings for compression. What do most people prefer between the default "Sharp" and the "Smooth" setting?

Whenever I have a dvd that is compressed 65% and below i put it on maximum smoothness-65% to 80% on smooth-80% to 90% i do sharp and 90% to 100% i do maximum sharpness. This has seemed to work and I have no complaints but it does slow down the analyzing and encoding. I no of other people who do the same and they have no complaints.

Thanks for the link.....very informative.

Nice to have a guideline for the quality settings as well, I'll start using those recommended settings based on compression from here on out.

I only keep the movie and use Deep Analyzing I never mess with the other options and I changed the Size to 4400 I think a tiny bit smaller then the 4.7 GB because I've had a few movies skip at the end on certain media.
