DVD-RWS Play on DVD players?

Wait, what are you trying to play? Audio on DVDs is neither WMA or MP3. Is this a DIVX movie or something? If so, very few DVD players will play that

Other then my CRAPPY Dell laptop (LOL) I have not ran into a DVD-player that didn't play my DVD-RW disk.....Maybe I am lucky but that includes all 3 of mine in the house, my parents, my sister, my niece's built in TV one, and a few of my friends who watched some of my CSI episodes on DVD....

I'm playing a streaming windows media video I downloaded off a site, and then put it onto my DVD-RW disk and it contains wma audio which my player doesn't support.

I imagine so...BUt it will likely take you tearing apart the WMV separating the 2 streams (video and audio) and then reencoding the uadio and muxing them back together....

Now I have done it with Mpeg, Divx, Xvix, and generic AVI, but I can t say I have done it to a WMV file....

Go to www.doom9.net and see if they have some guides to help you do it...

I actually have a DVD+-RW DL drive that won't read some DVD-RW (I think it is -, its a Sony disk), so don't count on it reading in all of your drives. This is even though the same disk reads fine in a DVD-ROM I have.
