I am thinking about buying a DVD drive. However, I dont know what type to get? Should i get a DVD+ or DVD-. Is there any other type of DVD Drive i should get. I aslo wondered can DVD-RW burn CD-RW and CD-Rs? Do just normal dvds burn anything?

I'd definitely go for a combo drive (+-RW), as there is still some uncertainty as to which format will win out (if any). Every DVD-RW (+ or -) drive I've ever seen will burn CD-RWs and CD-Rs. DVD-ROMs, by definition, aren't going to burn anything.

There are also combo DVD-ROM/CD-RW drives, which will burn CD-Rs and CD-RWs and will read but not write DVDs. You usually get them with laptops these days.
