dvd+rw and playstation/xbox comapitability

Hello,
Im thinking about getting an hp 200i dvd+rw writer. I was wondering if anyone can comment of the comapitbiltiy of the +r and +rw media in these gaming machines?

I dont think any concoles can read burned media, atleast not withut a mod chip.

+r plays in some v4 ps2 and then in all from there I think

+R seems to only work in V7 ps2s, I have a V7 w/ M2 Pro mod, but i use DVD-R since thats the type of drive i have. Don't really kno about xbox but heard it works

My xbox reads burned cd-rw's just fine without a mod chip. I am pretty sure that with a mod chip it will play dvd+rw's just fine, you could always get a drive that writes both dvd -r/+r, and dvd -rw/+rw. Sony has one out the dru500 I believe, but I am not sure about other companies at the moment.

My Xbox reads Memorex DVD+R media just fine. It couldn't read the DVD+RW Sony disc that came with my burner.
