DVD ripping?

Repost! :|

But really, if you are wanting to make a Divx movie then I recomend a program called Gordian Knot. You can dload it at doom9.

DVD2One
InstantCopy
DVDxCopy

All will make backups.

For the first two you need to circumvent the copy protection though.

Meh, my link works too. 😛

Get DVD Decryptor, it'll automatically select just the move on the disk... rip it to your hard drive. Then run dvd2one or Instantcopy on it to make it small enough to put on a DVDR.

It's actually gotten VERY easy over the few months... multitudes easier than DivX.

I use DVDDecryptor to make ISO's on the hard drive and watch them later using Virtual Deamon Manager to mount the ISO. That way I can return my movies to Netflix and watch it later at my leisure, with all the extras and stuff. When I'm done, I just delete it so it doesn't take up space. It's basically a "buffer" for my Netflix "input." 😉
