Avivo has worked like a charm, converting my downloaded videos... but can I rip my DVD's using this speedy software?

I've googled it every way I could think of, but I can't find any information on how to rip VOB, using this software.

Is there third party software that could access the dvd, and trick Avivo?

Well ATI is about to release AVIVO 2 and it will be more advance encoder which will be released around late April. If someone cracks it to be used with any video card then you will be able to do that.

It'll never be able to rip directly from commercial DVDs due to copy protection and the DMCA. I haven't a clue however if it can handle decrypted VOBs.
