DVD Rip to Mpeg

I'm loking for a free tool, or set of tools to rip a company produced DVD to mpeg format so its easier to work into presentations etc. I know to use DVD decrypter to rip it, but then what do i use to convert? To make it clear, this DVD has NO copyright protection schemes on it. It is the property if the company, i just want to make an mpeg or divx of it so i dont need to carry the disk around, Also i would like the programs to be free since this is the only time i will be using it
