Compusa has type 2 (removable) dvd-ram single sided 4.7gb both in store and online at 5.99. The website claims its made by FMI while in store its just labeled CompUsa. Cheapest I've seen it anywhere, and its worked fine for me - great for making test dvds before burning em to dvd-r. Now if I could only find dazzle dvd complete cheap....

Memorex dvd-r media is going on sale tomorrow for 3.99 each. Not bad for name brand media at a b&m store.

here's a link for the ram compusa link:)

*** NOT TRYING TO CRAP ON THREAD ***

I'm new to the whole DVD-R/RW/RAM game - my DVR-104 supposedly writes DVD-RAM - and I don't mind having more RW media on hand, for temp archival purposes. My question - is this any better than -RW? Or should I just stick to DVD-RW for my needs? Also - does this count as generic media? I've seen DVD-RAM media and it's pretty pricey, but I've also seen some branded stuff for around $9.99 - is it worth it to get generic for $5.99 (are there compatibility issues like with the rest of the rewriteable DVD media)?

How 'bout doing an edit and adding "media" to your title. Better still, add the price too. Let's people decide whether or not they want to open to find out more details.

Thanks.
