I was thinking of gettings this DVD-r Drive but i look at it now and it comes with no software. Many of the reviews say it does so which one am i to believe?

If it doesnt come with software what am i suppose to do, i have no idea what kind of software i need and what is best!

A retail drive will just about always come with software, it will probably be garbage though. An oem/bare unit won't. Which kind is it>

There are at the very least numerous demos that will at least keep you going for 30-60 days, I wouldn't really want to use the crap that comes with most drives anyway. Nero has been the best for as long as I've had a CD writer, 6 years.

Edit: Just saw the link. It says pretty clearly NO Software Included. Drives are always sold bare, but some also have retail kits, which is probably what you saw in a review. OEM drives are cheaper and most people who shop at places like NewEgg don't want retail packages anyway. Nero is hands down the best full featured CD/DVD burner.
