Whats the best bang for buck DVD-R media 2x?
Just ordered a Toshiba 2x DVD-R and need some media.

Verbatim has a reputation for having the best media, read a review a while ago in which Maxell came out on top, but I also think I read a review that Maxell RW media had problems.

Taiyo Yuden., Pioneer...look for Made in Japan...more likely it'll last and play longer, that would be my concern :music:

Just pick up some princo 1x media, it can usually be had for around $0.85, and you can flash your drive so that it can burn the disks at 2x. I think the media I have is princo, it looks the same, but so does the ritek media. Anyways, the dvd burner that I have is the pioneer dvr-a05, and they burned at 2x on there.
