dvd-r media. experiences? right forum?

i'm not sure where this topic should go. this forum seemed just as good as any others.

does anyone know which non-name brand dvd-r media is fairly robust and good for video?

dvdPro, dvd-on, optodisc, ritek, BeAll, Accu etc etc. and it seems like every online store has their own "house brand" dvdr media. many of the above can be had for less than $1 a pop when purchased in quantities of 50->100+ packs. 1x write speeds of course.

any experiences?

i picked up a few hypermedia 1x dvd-r's but my system's not here yet. heh

you might try the "search" box and skim some of the "dvd" threads.

also there are user comments at www.dvdrhelp.com

and www.rima.com is one reliable vendor I know of.
