Its the Same thing with CD-R ... the early CD Stereo's had problems reading CD-R's but now they all read them i'm pretty sure all the DVD players now can read DVD-R's
but maybe not the first batch ! that came out when DVD first arrived.
Some of these new DVD Players are now playing Dvix 5+ movies !! 😉
ive put -R and +R in a variety of computer DVD Drives and both worked
ive put -R and +R in my old 6 year old stand alone dvd player and both worked
ive put -R and +R in my gfs older DVD / LASER DISC player and both worked
ive put -R and +R in my xbox and both worked
ive put -R and +R in my new Magnavox DVD player and it both worked
My Panasonic DVD-RP 91 plays +R and -R discs flawlessly but my older Panasonic A120 only plays the +R media and skips or all out fails on the -R media. The -R media that I have used are Princo and Ritek G04s.
