DVD-R 100PK 1x $80 before shipping

I was looking for some DVD-R deals and I found this.. LINK
I don't know if the quality of this media is any good.. I am planning on getting them though.. I think this is a hot deal due to the rise in DVDR prices recently.. But thats only if the media actually works..

I also noticed that on that page it states "Lifetime recorded media integrity. One-year warranty. Made in Japan."
JAPAN ehh?? Can't be bad, can it?? LoL

didnt you read the fine print on the bottom? The warranty sticker is made in Japan, the DVD-rs are a product of a nation of Ivory Coast of Africa....

On a serious note, if you dont know the quality of a media, I would suggest getting a small sample first, like 10-pak or 25 pak.

Where did you read that?

I don't know if these disks are worth purchasing. just because they are made in japan doesn't mean they are of good quality. if you decide to get some use a media identifier program such as the one that comes with nero and let us know who makes these disks. I found some great deals on media at pricewatch.

i suggest getting the LEAD DATA discs from allmediaoutlet.com. it's like 100pk for $79 w/ free ground shipping. works like a charm on xbox/ps2/dvd players/computer

I bought These Princo 1X DVD's and with a Pioneer 104 recorder with the correct firmware, they burned in 2X, on my Pioneer 105, when I copied from disc to disc (used a mounted .iso as the 2nd disc), the first 10% burned in 4X, the remainder burned in 1X, took approx 45mins for a copy with my 105, but my freinds 104 burned it in about 27mins. They were cheaper when I bought them before, .59/ea with a purchase of 100, ended up getting them delivered for under .65/ea. Now they are .69/ea when you purchase 100, their shipping rates are not bad either.

Yes, the LEAD DATA are the ACCU'S that I have been getting. Burn perfectly at 2x on my 103 (hacked firmware) and play with no problems. The Accus and Riteks are the only ones that I trust of late.

I got a 100 pack spindle by CD Technologies last week from Amazon for $92 shipped. They are 1x Princo white top discs... it's the same disc that comes with the Cendyne 105 drive. It's a shiney white surface...

Jugs

EDIT: The discs have H042491157112 on the middle of the cd.

Thanks for the info Hoeboy just grabbed 100 for $79 shipped! 😀

I've only had my burner a month & have gone through over 100 discs already.

Haven't tried X-Box backups yet but was looking for a dependable media to try it on.

Anyone have a link or info on how to backup XBOX games? TIA
