I'm looking for a DVD player that can play XviD movies with subtitles not encoded in.

I'm thinking of buying:

I have a couple questions I couldn't find the answers to:
1. Do I burn the .avi and subtitles as data in the same folder?
2. Is the above DVD player any good? If not, please recommend any sub-$100 players.

Thanks for any help. :)

1. Yes burn them together and make sure the name of both files are the same (besides the file extensions)
2. Not sure if it will support srt subtitle files. See if you can download the manual for it and read through it.

A used Xbox with Evolution mod works great for me :) Guy owed me $50, gave it to me instead. Works great for every kind of media I can throw at it.
