DVD player that will play the most video formats ?

My old dvd player bit the dust, so I am looking for one that will play back the most video formats out there. I do some burning on my pc of old online movies, and I would like one that also has a USB port. Looking online for weeks has only confused me more than I was. Need help ASAP or my kids will be asking for a new dad come Christmas. Thanks !
 
Thanks poofyhairguy ! I found the Samsung BD-H5100/ZA online for $55.00 and ordered today. It has everything I need plus some nice extras. Nice to have a forum like this, where helpful advice is given.
 
I remember back in the days Philips used to have the best coverage of codex and came with USB port. I still have one dont use it anymore. Now I use Plex and it does everything.
