DVD player just died

I've had a Philips dvp642 for a few years now and now it won't turn on (just keeps blinking red). I want a new one like it, just something simple. I also want one to resume playback even if the player is off since this one can't do that.
 
Mine sucks, will sell for 20 dollars 😛
I hate this DVD player I have all kinds of problems with it's progressive scan capabilities.
