DVD player for MP3s

Do DVD players vary in the features they offer for playing MP3s? I want to know if they can handle folders.

depends on the model I think...I know car audio mp3 players can...maybe call BB and ask them?

i think they vary in what bitrates and types of bitrates they can play.

My Daewoo and Panasonic home DVD players have handled folders without any issues. Both players featured a nice graphic on the screen where you could drill through the various folders to pick the songs you wanted to play. Some even have a "random" feature.

I know my panasonic does MP3's, not sure about folders though....

My Sony handles folders just fine and hasn't choked on any bitrates yet
