Well, its what the title says. I've brand new dvd's and still there seems to be a problem. I tried the same dvd in another cheapo drive and it seems to work fine. Does anybody know of any utility to check if there's any problem with the drive? Also, the Lite-On website said that it also might be due to not enabling DMA. But I cant seem to find it in Windows XP.

The FSB is oc'ed to 180 Mhz from 133. Can this cause a problem too? I plan to RMA the drive cause its still in its warranty, but I want to avoid it if I can.
