DVD Playback Question in WINXP

I have a pioneer scsi dvd player in my computer.
When I play dvds, and I start scanning through webpages, or going through lists of my bookmarks in IE6, the sounds starts skipping, until I stop.
What causes this? I have an SB Audigy, Windows XP, Via 4.39 drivers on my asus a7v133 mb, and a 1.2 AMD Processor.

Using Powerdvdxp 4.0 and WINDVD 4.0, happens with both of them

Any ideas?

I have this problem too . someone please help! (same components but an epox 8kha+ 512 DDR PC2100 Atholn XP 1900+)
