I have windows media player 9 and recently I juz can't play DVD's on it and it seems any other program that uses the same codec as what media player 9 is using won't play the dvd's right. The menus will come out but after that the image is just streaks of color. The audio is fine, just the video is messed up. What could be the problem ? I tried installing new codecs and it didn't solve the problem.
Interestingly though, PowerDVD is not affected and can play DVDs ok, why ?
