DVD playback on Geforce2 GTS?

all nvidia cards are supposed to have great dvd decoding hardware on the card. I think that it should run fine.

Yeah, you should have no problems with performance/quality etc. Not quite as good as the Radeon, but still excellent.

Mine is very good (GF2 GTS w/64megs ddr) on a Celeron 300a @ 505mhz.
I just have a Hi-Val 12x DVD-ROM I got on the Circuit City special last month $69 after rebate. Playback is smooth at all resolutions. I get a hitch or two (just like a little noticiable skip or blip) once or twice in a movie. If I were to blink I would miss it.
I just got a new cpu from Compuwiz1 and will be installing it today shooting for 933mhz and I should be able to see if it makes any differance next time I view a dvd.
