Every DVD I try to play on my PC the colors are badly washed out. Black is light gray. I've played older DVDs and brand new DVDs results are the same. The colors of my desktop are normal, black is black. Videos from youtube play fine. Downloaded videos also play fine. Ripped videos are also washed out. I have tried both Windows media player and Nero Showtime. I will try VLC when I get back home. (at work right now)
I am ruining WinXP pro with a nvidia 7600gs with the latest drivers (did that this morning) and a Sony DVD RW DL. At the moment I don't know the model number. Will check into upgrading the firmware when I get back.
Any suggestions and/or advice would be appreciated.
