dvd multi recorder

i have a custom computer i built about two years ago .it has a foxconn p45a motherboard with 1 gig. memory pentium 4 xeon 3.00 cpu windows 7 ,80 gig hdd.now,i have a lightscribe dvd r/w lite on .it use to record but when i put a blenk dvd in it it ejects it telling me there is no recordable disk in the drive ?

Then the drive may have gown bad.
