Is it correct assumption purchasing the audiovox DVD MP3 car player, that I could burn on a 4.7 gb disk roughly 333*4.7=1565 songs in mp3 format(3mb a piece). I know there is a difference between pc dvd and standard

Yes. But DVDs suffer from the 'Where'd my missing space go?' syndrome.

DVDs hold something more like 4.4 gigabytes..

As he already pointed out if you don't need our opinion why are you here. Take yer bad attitude elsewhere, it's not as if anyone here owes you anything. No matter how many times you ask the same question.

Oh and just in-case it was too hard for you (which it must be since you're asking us to check your math).

4.4GB =~ 4400 MB
4400MB / 3 MB =~ 1467

Firstly, you asked twice counting this time - the other time being in "Operating Systems". Gee, this question relates totally to that subject. Bumping politely might have worked - but as you've shown, you don't seem to have any concept of "polite."

Secondly, DVDs hold 4.37GB of information. With a little high-school math, 4.37GB / 3MB per song ~= 1491 songs. I don't know WTF you were doing with "333*4.7" in your original post. Perhaps you should cart your ass and your angst back to class for a few more review sessions.

And thirdly, enjoy your vacation.

If your math is correct then why are you asking us to check it?

Anyway since you obviously don't think you need our help with anything or think that people aren't responding to you well enough then we'll request that this thread gets locked for you.

Absolutely wrong assumption. The audiovox is a player, not a burner you can burn exactly zero songs.

Do you know the difference between having an ass and being an ass?
