DVD media question?

How should I label my burned DVD's? When I use a black marker, the player won't read it. Is this normal?

Use the marker on the other side of the media,dont write on the burned side.

I used it on the top, not the burned side. It might be something else, but I burned the same video and the one without writing on it worked.

Did you try writing on the one that worked to see if it would work with writing on it? 😉

I was afraid to since DVR+R isn't cheap, but I'll try it.

to bring this thread back up...labels can peel off the disk if the drive spins the disk real fast and heats up the disk. The little bit of adhesive will lift up

I write on mine with Sharpies. No problems ever.

I use sharpies as well, no issues.
