DVD Media - Princo and others

Currently on my DVD burner, I use princos because I can get them cheap. about 50 cents a piece. I have just read that the are unreliable and I am thinking about trying to find some better media for somewhere near that cost. I don't play these in my dvd player, they are just storage for stuff I watch on my computer. Is it worth the extra cost to get better disks? Also, what brands use what type of disks? Is there a chart with this info anywhere? Thanks in advance.
 
I've got a spindle of 50 Memorex 4x +Rs that seem to be good (DVDInfoPro says they're Ricoh discs) that I picked up at Best Buy for $50.
