So my dad, 800 miles away, moved his dad player with a dvd in the thing and it now struck on the loading screen. He was just trying to hook up his old vcr for my price is right show on friday. I have done this before with other things (by accident) and never had a problem. Is this possible to be fixed? Thanks

Umm.... Has he tried unplugging it for 5 minutes? If anything it sounds like maybe the DVD is dislodged and stuck? When you try and eject the tray, does the DVD come out?

2-3 months? If littleprince's suggestion doesn't work, find out what brand it is and it might still be under warranty bubbadu, just a thought :)

We still don't know exactly what bubbadu fathers needs are Pepsi90919, a cheapo Walmart model might not fit the bill IMO Pepsi90919 :)

bubbadu, try and tell us the model and how it's hooked up to his HT system if it is at all!
