DVD help -- PowerDVD Question.

Help-- :frown:

I just bought a Philips PSC706 Acoustic Edge sound card and it came with Cyberink's PowerDVD 3.0.

When I first got my DVD-ROM (Raite 108H) 8x Buslink, it came with 2.55. I also have a CD-RW too.

Before I took 2.55 off, PowerDVD and ATI DVD co-existed peacefully. Now I have been trying to use the new 3.0 version and I get this error--

ASPI and ESDI drivers are not compatible.
So- PowerDVD 3.0 will not work. Even though ATI will play the DVDs.

What gives? Should I uninstall ATI DVD? Get new drivers?
Hmm? Help!!

Thanks!

You should only run 1 dvd proggie on your system at a time, otherwise windows gets confused, and trys to use drivers from both, hence the error. I would remove both of them, reboot, then reinstall the 1 you want to use.
