DVD DXR2 Freak!

I have a bare Creative DXR2 2x DVD ROM drive. It says I need a Creative DXR2 decoder card. Do I have to buy this exact card or can I get any type of dvd decoder card? Which one is good if so?

You do not need that, as far as I can remember, if you want a decoder card, the Creative DXR3 is very good, if you have 450MHz+, Power DVD 2.55 would be the best bet
