dvd drive won't read

Have a 2 yr old Pioneer dvd-105 (no tray.) It has stopped reading, ejects the disk after a few seconds. I want to try cleaning, but don't know how to do it. Any suggestions? Thanks

You could try one of those CD cleaning kits...If I were you I'd just call it a loss and get a new one. They're pretty cheap now.

Yep! Try a cleaning CD. If that doesn't work, try a different drive. I have replaced one of my Pioneer slot DVD drives (106S). They are hard to find these days - too many stupid trays out there! 🙂
