. Is that Win 98SE? If so, then go grab the Unoficcial Win 98SE ServicePack 2 CD (any search engine will find it quickly for downloading) and update your system. Also go to Adaptec and DL their ASPI layer software and install it. If one or more of those ideas don't clear up the problem, come back and we'll think on it some more.
