DVD Drive will not work with DVD+R DL

I have an NEC 3550A DL DVD Burner

I simply cannot do anything with DL DVDs!

If I use CloneCD/DVD Decrypter to try to write an image it will stall @ 0%, then give me an IO error.

If I try to do a speed test with Nero Ultra Ed. 7, it will give me a read error.

In EITHER case it's says my disc is no longer empty, but open.

If anyone has a clue what is going on, I'm all ears (eyes).

Is it supported ? I have a 3520 and it works w/ Verbatim DVD-R DL ..

Did you flash the dvd drive to the latest bios ?
