Dvd Drive stuck..

Two of my drives keep getting stuck and there are not any discs in them. It seems the drive won't open when it tries, and I tried switching the power cables to see what is wrong.. but I am unsure why.
 
does it make any sound like it's trying to open but doesn't?

if so, use a pin to push a button through a hole on the DVD front and manually pull out the disc tray, then press the normal open / close disc tray button to see if the DVD motor can overcome the stuckness.

if that doesn't work, then repeat the above process until it is no longer stuck.

It keeps making the sound and even when i press the pinhole it won't come out still, but like it comes out sometimes... but usually it doesn't.
