I replaced my motherboard a few weeks ago, and I just noticed that my DVD drive doesn't work anymore (doesn't read discs). It is a standard NEC drive, but the device manager lists it as "TB3260L VZ1511Z SCSI CDrom device". I looked on the NEC website and it says windows XP should install the drivers.

Note, the drive works when I boot the windows installation CD (I used it to do repair install of xp), but not once you open windows.

It's not a new board actually, just a different one (939 board running AMD). Do you reconnect it to a different slot? Check the bios? Yes, I may need a new driver (can't find it online).
