DVD drive in explorer only with disk in

I have 3 optical drive connected to my computer. One internal with Sata connector they other 2 are connected through USB 3 connectors.

None of them show up on Explorer unless they have a disk in them. In start/computer i see all the USB 3 device but not in Window Explorer and the Sata connected device shows up in the section Device with removable storage.

Go to Folder Options (can find in Control Panel if you don't know how to get to it in Explorer), go to the "View" tab, uncheck the option "Hide empty drives in the Computer folder."
