DVD drive doesn't recognize DVD

Hi guys, my mobo is asus k8n with liteon 811s dvdrw drive, yesterday I found my 811s dvd drive cannot recognize dvds, either movie or data burn, but it does recognize CD. the last software I installed are daemontool and magiziso to simulate CD images. I uninstalled daemontool and magictool, however, it is still not working. any idea what's wrong with it? thank you in advance.
 
If you can install the drive in another system for test try that. I have had a drive quit reading DVDs and still read CDs before and it was a hardware problem. Drive was replaced uner warranty.
