#1) why are you watching catwoman????
#2) probably because they are 2 different screens?

they are probably calibrated very differently aswell.

I dont know why but when I drive to beach on my 2003 Kawasaki Ninja all the girls look my way, but when I drive to the beach in my 1990 honda civic wagon with roof racks, they all look away. Could be a driver issue but It's the same driver, hmmm funny. Maybe this scenario will help you find the solution to your problem

They are. The wide-screen is a PVA and the LG is a S-IPS. S-IPS has the better color reproduction than PVA, at least in general, and PVA generally has the problem of the colors not showing shades when you look straight at it, that you can see when you look at it from a angle.

Calibrating it won't hurt, as suggested. Other factors to consider too, same player? same decoder? ect. but it is probably the characteristics of the different LCD matrices he has that is the primary reason.
