dvd decrypter files back to dvd

i backed up my dvds to the pc for viewing and now i've lost one of the originals.is it just a matter of copying the files onto a disc?

No, because all the VOB files may not fit on a 4.37gb DVD-R/+R disc. You'll need to use a program like DVD Shrink to analyze the ripped DVD files, and you may need compression and/or removal of extras to fit the movie on a DVD.

hi.i didn't mention they're kids dvds such as ,'rugrats go wild',stuart little etc and they average about 2 or 3 gb each uncompressed

Well, you still need to use DVD Shrink, except you'll be able to do a 1:1 backup with all the extras.

i'm transferring my decryted files from my hard drive back to a dvd -disc .do i need dvd shrink for that as the movies are only 2-3gb in size.they haven't been shrunk in any way the original movie is 2-3gb in size

If the original will fit on a smaller single-layer disc without shrinking, then just use Nero (5 or 6 if you have it) to make a new DVD Video and put the files in the video_ts folder. That should do it.
