Ok so I just started using DVDD with my new DVD-RW. As a test I ripped a dvd I have onto my hard drive in IFO format. Now how do I put that back on a DVD so I can just pop it into a DVD player and have it work?

I usually just rip to ISO. But either way, you'll want to make sure the contents will fit on a typical DVD+/-R. Most DVD videos will be ~7-8 GB, which will require more compression to fit onto the that standard disc (~4.3 GB, give or take). The quickest way to do this is to use DVDShrink along w/ a burning program. Fire up DVDShrink, and it'll create a compressed image of the original video, with the correct size for normal burnable discs. If you're concerned about quality loss, you could also use DVD Rebuilder, but it takes significantly longer.
