DVD copyright breaker

I have disks that I'm trying to back up but they say are locked essentially. I used to have a program that ran them through and cracked them but I forget what it was called.

Any ideas? I know it was free. I though it was handbreak but that didnt look right when I checked the website.

That should decode in the background allowing you to use whatever you want to copy the thing (IIRC).

I remember I would run this program first and it would kind of just be a background process and then I could watch and rip DVDs

I used to do the same thing when I wanted a local copy to watch instead of having to go get a physical disc which is so much more convenient.
