DVD/CDRW Combo Drive Problems

I'm trying to help a friend of mine with an issue with their DVD/CDRW combo drive. It can't read a specific CDR. I was able to read that disk correctly with 3 other computers. The only idea I have to fix this is by updating the drivers and firmware. The drive is a Toshiba SD-R2312. The only problem is I don't know where to find the latest official firmware. (The toshiba site didn't seem to have it) Where can I find the firmware???

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
