Two problems:

I can't enable DMA on my DVD drive and

My burner software isn't recognizing my CD burner.

Any suggestions on how to fix these two issues?

DMA can't be enabled if it shares a IDE ribbon with a device that doesn't support DMA. As for the CD burner not being recognized, make sure you have the lastest burning software.

The DVD drive is set up as the master on the primary IDE channel. There are no other devices associated with it.

I've tried two different burner software packages and they aren't recognizing the CD burner.
