DVD/CD Drive help!

So I decided to install a new HSF for my new PC tonight, I take everything apart, pull out my motherboard, do all that good stuff, then put it all back together and its starts up fine (and 10 - 15C cooler).

Well I noticed my DVD/CD Drive is not working, it opens up fine and I took it out after I saw it was not working and there are no broken parts (I could not hear anything ratling around).

The only thing I did different when I put all my components back in was add a new IDE Hard Drive, which I just removed to see if that was causing the problems.

Can anyone see the reason for this drive to just stop working? Windows does not see it, its not in the Device Manager or listed in 'My Computer'. Anyone know what caused this? Anyone know a fix?

Thanks.

I have personally found that any time you work inside the pc to add/remove components, you should check to make sure that all plugs are still seated correctly.

I've rechecked everything, double checked, then tripple checked. The only thing I have not done yet is use another IDE port on the motherboard. Which I'll try doing in a few minutes.
