DVD/CD and Burner trays come out - won't go back

P-160 owners - how do you solve the problem of the little silver doors that cover your dvd/cd/ etc, and have buttons that strike the open close buttons on the drive and the tray comes out pushing the silver door down. However when closing the tray it jams against the edge of the silver door and will not close unless youhold the silver door away from the tray as it slides back in. Any handy fix for this?

Take the front of the tray off.

Yup, take the hole filler that's on the end of tray off.

They come off? harmlessly? I mean can they be put back if I change my drives and want to sell the old ones?

Yep. I had to take the tray front off of my DVD burner to get it to close properly on my P160. I only mean the front of the tray, not the entire drive.

Yup, you may have to look closely to see how it goes on and bend it a bit more than you'd like to get it off but it should come off in one piece. And just snap back on when needed.
