My mom just came back from Europe after using her DVD camcorder. She'd like me to put all the videos on one disc for her to look at. I've been able to copy over all the video.ts and VOB files to my hard drive.

What would be the best program to extract the video without loss of quality? She only has 5 20 minute mini dvdr's full of video so I'm not worried about space on a regular sized dvd, but the program I used (DvDx) extracted the video really really low quality, anyone have any recommendations on that and a video editing software to maybe add some music and connect all the videos together?

dude,

You could try putting all these together in DVDShrink...

Alternately, you *could* try an rename the .vob files into .mpeg and then reauthor them in a program like Ulead DVD Movie Factory or TMPGEnc DVD creator, which would allow you to make fancy menus, chapters etc....
