I switch to 64-bit vista just a while back, and now a good number of the DVDs I try to burn fail. I mean it won't even start burning. Power2Go doesn't give me a specific reason. I have the latest version which is suppose to support 64-bit windows. The windows burning software (whatever it's called works more often but that fails too).
after Power2Go fails to burn, if I try to burn sth on the same DVD it says the DVD isn't blank. But I can burn stuff on the same DVD using my laptop.

I have the latest drivers for my DVD-ROM, Sony DRU-840A.

any ideas?

No real ideas as to why you are having issues and not saying you are alone, but I haven't had or heard of any issues with this? I myself have been using X64 for some time and have burned loads of DVD, CD disk with no failures at all, I am using Nero 8 and 9. I am not familiar with power2go software.
