DVD burning....

I've got the DVD's, but everytime we start up the player, we have to go through the whole stupid preview process - you know...10 minutes of "Hey this is coming out next month!" stuff.

Any ideas on what software I can get to copy the actual cartoon to a blank DVD and kill the preview crap in the process?

1) Rip DVD to HD w/ DVDDecrypter
2) Analyze DVD w/ DVDShrink and compress only the movie (the largest file on the DVD)
3) Burn the compressed movie to DVD w/ Nero (or software of your choice). If you're Nero, select DVD-Video mode and put the compressed files from DVDShrink in the TS_Video folder. Burn and enjoy.

I do the same thing. (I have 4 kids) The copy protection on the kids stuff is really weak. You can skip DVD decrypter and just use DVD Shrink to re-author them. Mine are also all loaded onto my HTPC so the kids can't destroy the DVD's

Up for kids. DVD Shrink good for this. And might I suggest the Wiggles and Laurie Berkner 😉..............

Honestly, they do not like the Wiggles. Well, the 2 year old doesn't, but the 2 month old...well....hard to say what he likes.

Little Einsteins, Max and Ruby, Diego, Dora, Tellytubbies, Family Guy (oddly enough)...all stuff he likes.

From my experience, kids love Family Guy because of all the bright colors and cartoony characters. The opening song intro helps grab attention too.

Say that after you've tried Madagascar and Valiant. 🙂

I wish my wife would quit buying these damn things, I'm getting tired of burning them all!
