Please forgive me, I am not very technical. I am burning DVDs using the Nero 6.0 program and everything has been working fine. I have been burning to DVD+R without issues. All of the sudden, it is requiring DVD-R when it is ready to burn. I have a stack of DVD+R media sitting here I want to use. Why is this happening and how can I go back to using the DVD+R?

Thanks for any help.

The error occurs when I am using the Nero Recode program. The error message says that the burn requrires a DVD-R and that the disk in place is a DVD+R and the compliation cannont be burned. It then opens the drive and tells me to replace the disk with a DVD -R.

that's the strangest thing, the only thing i can think of is that dvd-r has a few megabytes more capacity wise. usually about 6MB more, try to make your compilation a little bit smaller.

Thanks for your reply. For some reason, it started working again today. The only thing I did was change the ASPI driver. I guess that was the problem. THanks again.
