This problem's got me stumped, maybe someone else has a clue what's going on.
I'm burning a DVD using Nero. The DVD Burner is attached using a USB 2.0 cable to my laptop, external 8x burner.
the burner works fine on a similar laptop, using nero as well. everything seems to be constant, so there must be something wrong with my laptop or nero's settings.
the dvd burns as normal, but once it hits the 4% mark, the progress stops. the estimated time keeps ticking down as it burns, hits 0 and stays there. elapsed total time just keeps ticking up, the progress stays at 0. buffer stays full and does not empty. no errors, nothing. it just stays like that, as if it's burning.
i leave it sitting for 10 minutes (longer than it should take to burn the dvd) and it still doesn't show any indication of doing anything. i have to CAD it.
anyone have any ideas? there's nothing else running on usb.
