Dvd burning issues

I have two toshiba burners running in two different computers that are exactly the same, one burns at about 6min at 16x and the other is burning at 12min at 16x. They are both the same computer, and i cant figure out this problem. does anyone know how to fix this problem?
 
All software is exactly the same? Nothing different running in the background? If so, swap the drives and see what the result is.

Edit: Are you assuming that the drives are burning at 16x simply because the're both 16x drives? Seems that one may be burning 8x for some reason or another since your getting exactly 2 times the other drives burn time on it.
